Let’s see what Oukitel RT1 has to offer. First off, the tablet flaunts its IP68 and IP69K certification for its ruggedness and protection against dust, water, and other environmental conditions. IP refers to Ingress Protection whereas the first digit 6 and second digit 8 or 9 refers to different parameters.

This is an international standard for the ruggedness of smart devices. The digit 6 means that the device is pretty much dustproof. For instance, you don’t have to worry about solid dust particles entering your tablet while working on it in a DIY setting or outdoors.

The second digit indicates the protection against the ingression of fluid. The number 8 means the tablet provides safety beyond 1m of submerging in water.
