Oppo, the giant smartphone maker is all set to launch its new tablet device “Pad 2“. This device is said to be the upgraded version of its existing tab device. If speculations are to be believed, the note device will be powered by Dimensity 9000 powered by SoC by MediaTek.
The company is planning to launch the device along with its OEM’s upcoming flagship Find X6 series of Android smartphones.
Phone enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the device as it’s OPPO’s second-gen Pad powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. This is a next-gen processor for the upcoming feature-rich smartphones. By replacing the Snapdragon 870-powered processor with MediaTek Dimensity, Oppo is fixing the earlier shortcomings found in its devices.
In a report published in GizChina, tipster Digital Chat Station has guessed a few features of the upcoming OPPO Pad 2 device. They have made revelations about the display and processor that the Oppo Pad 2 can come with.
The report says that the device might come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC processor and an IPS LCD display screen with a 2,800 x 2,000-pixel screen resolution.
The report, however, made no comments on the rear and front cameras and battery of the upcoming device.
To guess the possible features of Oppo Pad2, tipsters have taken into the account the features of the Oppo Pad Air tablet that the company launched in India in May this year.
The tablet comes with a 10.36 large screen powered by a 7100 mah battery. If the company is thinking in alignment with the Oppo Pad Air tablet, it is possible that the Oppo pad can be launched with a 7000-8000 mAh battery.
The device will be coming in three colors namely black, silver, and purple. The tablet will have a firm build possibly with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. Its display will be protected with corning Gorilla Glass.
The device will be powered by 8/12GB RAM and 256/512 GB Internal Storage. The tablet might also have a microSDXC (dedicated slot) for extended storage.
According to some earlier leaks by noted tipsters, the Oppo pad device might come packed with a 10-inch display and a single rear camera. It may also have a durable and long-lasting 7 or 8000 mAh battery.
The company however hasn’t made any words about how Oppo pad 2 will be priced. The leaks however suggest that the company can launch the phone in early 2023 at a price tag of 20,000 to 25,000.
We have to wait for more until the company brings in further details about the tablet device Oppo Pad2. However, tipsters are sure, it will similarly display, quad-speakers, and battery that its predecessor Oppo pad had.
The tech giant is busy with the launch of the Oppo Reno9 series and a new foldable in December. So, we can see the Oppo Pad 2 appearing before the end of this year. More leaks will likely emerge over the weeks.
