Microsoft recently hosted their Surface event in October 12, 2022, introducing a barrage of new Surface devices, including the Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Studio 2+ to streamline performance and elevate the prospect of innovation to the very next level.
Following are all the devices that will redefine computing needs and the future of mobile workstations.
Surface Pro 9
A much-anticipated launch, the Surface Pro 9 is a tablet that can easily replace your laptop with a touch display and full-size precision touchpad for smoother usability and navigation.
The model, which is available in multiple color variants, features a durable high-grade aluminum casing with its iconic and stable built-in kickstand to streamline your user experience anywhere you are.
Ideal for all your productivity needs, the Surface Pro 9 works as a journal, a computing beast and a device that keeps your productivity on track throughout the day. Featuring a 13” PixelSense display, the vibrancy and true-to-life color reproduction is further escalated with the 120Hz refresh rate.
However, what makes the Surface Pro 9 stand out as the first of its kind is the choice of processors. The model comes with a choice between the 12th Gen. Intel Core processor that’s built on the Intel Evo platform. The other variant features the Microsoft SQ 3 processor that’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon with 5G connectivity.
Irrespective of the processing power, both the variants feature prolonged batter life, high-end security and can handle intense workloads without any interruptions. The Intel variant is integrated with Thunderbolt 4 that supports rapid data transfer without any compromise.
The Microsoft SQ variant, on the other hand, features 5G connectivity and is backed with next-gen AI features for the ultimate performance without any compromise.
It doesn’t stop there. Microsoft has also collaborated with London-based design house, Liberty to launch a limited-edition Surface Pro 9 keyboard with a vibrant blue floral pattern for an elegant touch to the already seamless and aesthetic design of the model.
Surface Laptop 5
Another elegant and stunning release from Microsoft is the Surface Laptop 5 is powered by the latest 12th Gen. Intel Core processor and is built on the Intel Evo platform.
The model will be available in two size options – 13.5” and 15”. Also, the device will be equipped with a 3:2 PixelSense display with Dolby Vision IQ for vivid and sharp color reproduction like no other.
As for the build and construction, the model features a full-anodized body and is available in four stunning and aesthetic color options.
Microsoft has also backed the model with the Dolby Atmos 3D spatial processing for immersive audio output without any compromise.
Surface Studio 2+
Not just laptops and mobile workstations, Microsoft also announced the Surface Studio 2+ with an expansive 28” display and a flexible zero-gravity hinge.
The display is powered by the Intel core processors, offering 50% improved performance compared to the predecessors. It is also backed with RTX 3060 GPU for attaining the most realistic ray-traced graphics.
As for I/O ports, the display is integrated with USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 for easy connectivity to external devices.
