The Lenovo Tab M8’s expected specification also showed up on Geekbench. The Tab M8 is expected to have the MediaTek P22 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The MediaTek SoC on the tablet has an octa-core chipset with 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2 GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The device is also expected to have 3GB of RAM. The listing also states that the device scored 163 on the single-core benchmark and 950 on the multicore benchmark.

While the type of RAM is to be determined, the SoC does support both LPDDR3 and LPDDR4x RAMs, which makes us wish to get the latter one with the M8 3rd generation.

The Lenovo Tab M8 is expected to come with Android 11 out of the box, which also hints at the M7 and M10 Plus updates to be running Android 11 as well.

As per the specifications on the Google Play Console, the Tab M8 will also sport a front camera. MediaTek’s SoC ISP can handle up to 13 MPs camera, however, Lenovo will probably not go beyond 5MP for the front-facing cameras on the tablets.

The Google Play Console specifications also hint at a display with 1280X800 Pixels with 240PPI density. This further establishes the screen size is likely to be around 8-inches, which thereby confirms the specification for the Tab M8.

The storage option for the M8 is likely to be 32GB, while there might be a 4GB RAM variant which also substantiates that the device codes (B-8506FS and TB-8506X) on the FCC database are just the storage variants and not separate line-ups like Tab M7 and Tab M8.

Lenovo Tab M8’s battery size is expected to remain the same as the previous version, at 5000 mAh.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus

  • The storage option is expected to be 128GB, while the RAM is expected to be 4GB just like the 2020 Lenovo Tab M10 Plus.
  • The display size (10.3 inches) for the Tab M10 Plus as well as the FHD resolution (at 1920 X 1200) is not expected to change.
  • While the battery could be updated to 6000 MaH.
  • Other information regarding the chipset is not available as of yet. We would have to wait for official confirmations from Lenovo.

Lenovo Tab M7 Geekbench Specs Leak

A Geekbench listing showed an upcoming tablet with the specification of MediaTek’s Helio A22 SoC with 2GB of RAM. This spec list is similar to the 2nd Gen Lenovo Tab M8 from 2019. Therefore, it is safe to assume that this device would be the Lenovo Tab M7.

While no information regarding display size or resolution is found, it is unlikely to change from the previous generation. The Helio A22 SoC has a quad-core chipset that is clocked at 2 GHz. The listing also states that the device scored 144 on the single-core benchmark and 498 on the multicore benchmark.
