Various sources including Appleinsider on 26 August reported that seven latest iPad(s) have been listed at the Eurasian Economic Commission’s (EEC) website. The listing implies that the eagerly awaited new iPad(s) are set to be released soon.
Apple is bound to report the hardware that uses encryption technology in the Eurasian database. All previous Apple product releases indicate that the company reports to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at least a month ahead of the official product release. Therefore, the new iPads are expected to be launched by September or October 2020.
Consomac, a renowned French publication was the first one to announce that the new iPads are registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) with the following model numbers – A2270, A2072, A2316, A2324, A2325, A2428, and A2429. Along with the registration, it is also reported that the latest seven iPad(s) will be powered by iPadOS 14.
Apple had unveiled the premium iPadOS 14 in June at the WWDC 2020 event. The more advance and optimized iPadOS 14 is designed to enhance the experience of working on an expansive iPad screen and amplify the Apple Pencil compatibility.
The iPadOS 14 comprises of a newly re-designed interface that is similar to the macOS Spotlight pop-up search bar. It also has a new incoming call UI feature which sends a pop-up notification at the top of the screen instead of occupying the whole screen.
Another exclusive feature of iPadOS 14 is that it consists of the latest version of ARkit and a new depth API to support augmented reality applications. This feature will be further beneficial while using the LiDAR scanner on the new iPad Pro devices.
According to famous tech and gadget YouTuber Jon Prosser, Apple will unveil the new iPads in September 2020 along with the new next-gen Apple watches. He also reported that the launch of new iPad models could take place via simple press releases instead of hosting separate lunch events for the new products. He further estimated that the product launch can take place at any time starting from 7 September.
Although technical specifications and other details about the new iPad(s) are not out yet, some leaks are giving a peek into the design of cutting-edge iPad(s). Out of seven new iPad(s), some are believed to have more than one model offering different configurations.
The famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that the soon to be released iPad(s) consists of 10.8-inch and 9-inch displays. He added that the latest A14-based iPad Pro with miniature LED displays will be either launched soon after the seven iPad(s) release or towards the beginning of 2021.
Some sources also suggest that the highly anticipated iPad Air 4’s instruction pamphlet in Spanish is out. According to the pamphlet, the exclusive iPad Air 4 looks similar to the iPad Pro range design with slim bezels around it. The iPad Air 4 is also expected to replace the Lightning port with a Type-C USB port.
Another rumored spec is that iPad Air 4 will support Touch ID instead of Face ID becoming the first Apple product to have this feature. According to the Apple-insider report, the new iPad Air 4 price starts from US$649 and the device will be available in different storage configurations of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

It remains to be seen whether the company release just one iPadOS 14 with different variants or different iPad models at once.
